Divorce, Separation and Family Law

Divorce or separation is always an emotional time in the life of anyone unfortunate enough to go through the experience. Matters may be made worse if children are involved and questions of custody and financial provision arise.

Sound legal advice taken at an early stage can help to appreciate all the options available and help to bring about in many cases a negotiated settlement governing the breakdown of the marriage, the financial implications of that and arrangements to safeguard the well being of any children. We are experienced and well placed to give friendly and sympathetic yet objective advice on all aspects of matrimonial and family law.

Employment Law

In the best run businesses problems of employment law will arise from time to time both from the employers perspective and also from the employees point of view.

It may be a question of Contracts of Employment, or of Transfer of a Business and its effect on employees , but we can provide experienced help and advice to help guide you through the maze of legislation affecting this area of law.

If it is a question of unfair dismissal we can advise on the compensation rules and if necessary take a case on your behalf to the Industrial Tribunals. Time limits for this are quite short and so taking early advice is, as always, important.
