Legal Team

Andrew Whyte (Partner)

Graduate of Aberdeen University (1976) and a partner in the firm since 1981. Andrew is based at our Aberdeen Office but as a native of the north east he provides legal services throughout the north east corner including Fraserburgh and Peterhead. He deals principally in property purchases and sales, conveyancing, Wills and Estates and company and commercial matters.

Robert Paterson (Partner)

Graduate of Aberdeen University (1978) and a partner in the firm since 1984. Resident partner at our Westhill Office and dealing principally with property sales and purchases, conveyancing, residential and commercial leasing, Wills and estates and general legal matters. Mr Paterson is also a tutor of private client work in the Diploma of Legal Practice at Aberdeen University.

J Crosby Chisholm (Consultant)

Graduate of Edinburgh University (1969). Mr Chisholm retired as Senior Partner at the end of 2006 and is now a Consultant with the firm and specialises in Wills and estates, trusts, commercial and agricultural conveyancing and general business matters.

Raymond George McCombie (Senior Solicitor)

Graduate of Aberdeen University (2001). Raymond joined the firm in 2009 and he has several years experience in property and private client work. Raymond mainly specialises in residential and commercial property sales and purchases and conveyancing. He also undertakes a range of private client work including Executries, Trusts and Guardianships.

Stephen Bland (Solicitor)

Graduate of Aberdeen University (2006). Stephen joined the firm in 2010 following his admission as a Solicitor and is taking an active role in the administration of trusts and estates and Guardianships. He is also involved in property work and conveyancing.

Lisa Thom

Lisa Thom PhotoLisa is based at our Aberdeen Office and joined the firm in February 2008. Lisa is involved in property sales and leasing including pre-sale valuations and leasing appraisals in Aberdeen and the North East. She is available to advise on all aspects of property sale and leasing.

Catriona Watt

Lisa Thom PhotoCatriona is a graduate of Aberdeen University and has worked at our Westhill Office since June 2008 and has dealt with an extensive and varied portfolio of property sales and leases in Westhill and surrounding area. Catriona is available to carry out free pre sale valuations and leasing appraisals and provide marketing advice.
